For earth day, we saved our drink containers and will be using them to transplant our class seedlings into.
Each class has started a different tomato variety, so if you have kids in more than one class, they will each bring home a different tomato plant. They will also be bringing home a cracker jack marigold(tall) or carpet of snow alyssum(short) flowers in the same pot (to be separated later at home).
Student plants will be sent home after track and field day on May 12.
The greenhouse will be open after school Tuesday May 12 through Friday May 15 (or until plants are all gone). The Academy had planned on providing flowers this year, and we are providing mostly vegetables in our greenhouse. Vegetables for public purchase will be in larger commercial containers, with 2-4 plants per container depending on their size.

Thank you for supporting our budding agriculturists!
