For earth day, we saved our drink containers and will be using them to transplant our class seedlings into.

Each class has started a different tomato variety, so if you have kids in more than one class, they will each bring home a different tomato plant. They will also be bringing home a cracker jack marigold(tall) or carpet of snow alyssum(short) flowers in the same pot (to be separated later at home).

Student plants will be sent home after track and field day on May 12.

The greenhouse will be open after school Tuesday May 12 through Thursday May 14 (or until plants are all gone). The Academy is selling flowers April 27 & 28, and we are providing mostly vegetables in our greenhouse. Vegetables for public purchase will be in larger commercial containers, with 6 cells that could be cut apart if you don’t want that many.

Peppers – California wonder, mixed carnival, and red bell peppers. Jalapeno, cayenne and habanero hot peppers. Sweet banana peppers.

Tomatoes – There may be a few tomatoes left after students take theirs home.

Eggplant, brussel sprouts, cabbage, broccoli, and cauliflower plants.

Crackerjack mixed marigolds.

Thank you for supporting our budding agriculturists!
