Holy Family hosted veterans on Monday, November 13 during the annual veteran’s day program. The focus this year was Heroic military chaplains who have received the medal of honor and are on the path for potential sainthood. Andy Bishop was the M.C. Terrance Schaecher and Dave Arlt posted the flags and retired the colors. Justine R and Drew W read about the flags. Fr. Jim Novotny gave the invocation and Benediction. Andrea Steffen sang O America byt Celtic Woman, and led Holy family students in No Greater Love and Sacrifices Made both by Mike Wilson. Guest speaker Chris Stefanick spoke about Fr. Capodanno‘s service, and Doug Liess spoke about Fr. Kapaun. The program concluded with everyone circling the gym and singing God Bless the USA by Lee Greenwood.
